James McCarthy is a writer and performer from Brooklyn, New York. He's the head writer for the hit TruTV series, “Impractical Jokers”, and has been on house sketch and improv teams at the UCB Theatre in New York, where he is currently directing a sketch show. He’s also written spots for NBC and Above Average, and has acted in a commercial for PNC Bank and a pilot for MTV.
Jared Lapidus is a director, writer, and editor. After studying film at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts, Jared's gone on to direct content for networks, studios, and lots of cool ad agencies. He recently directed nearly half the first season of the Netflix comedy series, The Who Was? Show, along with season one of truTV's late-night comedy tentpole, Ghost Story Club, and a full season of sketches for the upcoming VH1 comedy series, Grown & Sexy. Before that, Jared directed on Lorne Michaels' primetime NBC variety show, "Maya & Marty", along with an original series for NBC's SeeSo, as well as half-hour pilots for SuperDeluxe, Abso Lutely, E!, and MTV.
